The Municipality of Penamacor will host the “Dar +” Solidarity Festival on 16 May 2026 at Jardim da República. The event aims to support vulnerable local families through donations of essential food items such as milk, olive oil, cereals, flour and canned goods.
The programme includes a solidarity walk with two routes (3 km and 6 km), traditional music and folklore performances, cultural entertainment, children’s activities, and the preparation and tasting of “Arroz + Doce”. A social lunch for walk participants will also take place during the day.
